Research on Influence of Exhaust Characteristics and Control Strategy to DOC-Assisted Active Regeneration of DPF

For the purpose of designing a reasonable control strategy for DOC-assisted DPF regeneration, mathematical model that describes thermal phenomenon both in diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and particulate filter (DPF) during regeneration is developed. All boundary conditions this are obtained by experiments. The effects main exhaust parameters such as mass flow rate, temperature, oxygen concentration emission reactants investigated comprehensively. two strategy, DOC-out temperature soot loading, analyzed well. To quantify relevant parameters, fuzzy grey relational analysis method utilized to evaluate correlation coefficient all factors key indexes maximum rate increase duration. results work will greatly reduce complexity enable more rational design DOC–DPF systems.
